Clara Mae Lofland

HENDERSON, Md. - Clara Mae Lofland, 66 of Henderson, died on Friday, July 22, 2011, at her home. She was born on Dec. 20, 1944 in Milford, Del., to the late Fred and Elsie Clendaniel Hickman. Mrs. Lofland was a homemaker as well as operating owner of E & E Greenhouse of Templeville for 17 years. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Earl O. Lofland; one son, Earl J. Lofland Sr. and daughter-in-law, Tammy of Marydel; three grandchildren, Earl J. Lofland Jr., Brittany Lofland and Russell Lofland; two brothers, Clayton Hickman of Greensboro and Richard Hickman of Oak Orchard, Del.; three sisters, Bessie Wenk of Bridgeville, Del., June Kemp of Camden, Del., and Helen Hannum of Felton, Del. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Hickman. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 25th at 2 p.m. from the Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W Sunset Ave, Greensboro. Family and friends may call for a visitation on Sunday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Templeville Cemetery, Templeville.
