Claire V. Hartstein

Claire V. Hartstein passed away on Aug. 24, 2018 at the Manor House in Seaford.
Claire was born in Gloucester, N.J., a daughter of the late John and Viola Williams.
Claire was a member of the Laurel Lioness Club and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cheering for the Phillies.
Family meant everything to her, raising seven children, James Hartstein (Lois) of Chance, Md., Stephen Hartstein (Debbie) of Georgetown, Carol Lynn Danielson (Arvid) of Tucson, Ariz., Sharon Marie Lockhart (David) of Skiff Lake, Canada, Debbie Jean Maslar (Paul) of Camden, Lisa Claire Valeski (Brian) of Camden and Terri Lynn Moore of Ocean City, Md. Thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren also survive her.
Claire was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Hartstein.
A viewing will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Seaford on Wednesday Aug. 29, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
Arrangements are in the care of the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel.
