MAGNOLIA - Cheryl Mae White passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 in Milford Hospital after a year and 3 month battle with cancer. Cheryl was born Sept. 23, 1956 in Lewes, Del. to the late Jack P. White and Geneva A. Cooper White. She had worked in the retail industry for both K-Mart and Wal-Mart. Cheryl loved nature walks, photography, writing and music, but especially spending time with her son and family. She is survived by her son, Raymond P. White of Rehoboth; brother, Clifford A. White and his wife Eileen of Felton; sister, Veda Olechny and her husband, Patrick, Sr. of Marydel, Del.; nephews, Gary Harrington, Christopher White both of Harrington and PJ Olechny of Marydel, Del., and her beloved dog, Jack, he had been a stray that she adopted. Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior.
