LITTLE CREEK - Charlotte M. Angwin passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Kent General Hospital.
She was born November 6, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Herbert J. Brown and Florence Spring.
Throughout her years, Mrs. Angwin worked for Delaware Adolescent Program Incorporated and Brunswick Doverama Child Care room. Children became her passion; she ran a home daycare (Charlotte's Daycare) for over 30 years before she decided to retire in 2012 caring for many children during the years. She loved Owls and Santa Claus collecting many over the years. She enjoyed baking when able and crocheting.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her brother, John H. Brown of N.C. and Edward Brown of N.H.
Mrs. Angwin is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Edward L. Angwin of Little Creek, Del.; children, Christina Moctezuma (Jorge) of Dover, Del., Sandra Carter (Clarence) of Casselberry, Fla., Lisa Scott of Ithaca, N.Y., Edward L. Angwin, Jr. of Little Creek, Del.; brother, William Brown of Seattle, Wash.; sisters, Florence Korpi of Summerfield, Fla., Marie Perez of Bellview, Fla., Joan Edwards of Hot Springs, Ark., Cathy Jenes of N.Y.; grandchildren, Paige, Kaitlyn (Mike), Robert, Sebastian, Alyssa, Aydin, Shelby, Daniel Jr.; great-grandchildren, Nova, Jesse James and Anori.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Monday, January 31, 2022, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, at 1145 E. Lebanon Rd., Dover, Del. Friends may call two hours prior. Interment will follow at Sharon Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her Memory.
