Charlotte grew up in Magnola, Del., lived by the Jersey Shore and Florida before retuning to Camden, Del. with her husband, Roy Spence.
She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Lelia Courtney; and her eight siblings.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, Roy Spence (the love of her life); and three daughters, Charlotte Schmeling, Letty Hildick, and Gerry Miller-Landmesser; five grandsons, Doug, Dave, Drew, Brett and Jayson; and two great grandchildren, Jonathon and Alexis.

Due to covid a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
