DOVER, Del. - Charlotte A. Harris passed away peacefully on Monday, August 2, 2021.
Charlotte was born on September 1, 1937 in Dover, Del., the daughter of the late Linden and Gladys Boyer of Smyrna. Charlotte retired from the Delaware Department of Motor Vehicles. She enjoyed reading, camping, crafting, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Earl. She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Ogden and her husband Brooks of Dover and Kathy Brown and her husband Charles of Dover; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Brown (Vanessa), Danny Boone (Amanda), Heather Moran (Todd), Brooks Ogden Jr (Sarah) and Scott Ogden; eight great grandchildren, Rachel, Sophie, Bohdi, Jacob, Nash, Gracelynn, Luke and Kayson; a brother, Linden Boyer (Marlene); and a host of nieces and nephews who were all special to her.
A visitation will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Memorial services will begin at 1 p.m.
Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Asbury United Methodist Church, 20 W. Mt. Vernon St., Smyrna, DE 19977.
