Charles Quenton Dulin

CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Charles Quenton Dulin died on Jan. 24, 2019 at his home.
He was born in Chestertown, on Oct. 17, 1924, the son of the late Reginald Price and Martha Cheezum Dulin. He attended Chestertown High School and on Dec. 31, 1945 he married Ida Mae Hadaway of Rock Hall, they were married for over 71 ½ years.
Mr. Dulin spent his career as a farmer just outside Chestertown and operated Dul-Pines Farm until his retirement.
He served on the Land Preservation Board for Kent County, Weed Control for Kent County, the Agriculture Stabilization Cooperative, and as director for the Federal Land Banks of Kent County for 27 years. Mr. Dulin was a member of the Farm Bureau, The Kent County Ruritan Club, Chestertown Elks Lodge #2474, and Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his children, Danny W. Dulin and his wife, Terry, Anna C. Nordhoff and her husband Mike, and Joyce C. Bradley and her husband Wayne; four grandchildren, M. Shawn Nordhoff and his wife Jackie, Charles Nordhoff and his wife Amy, Melissa Wilkinson and her husband Andy, and Laura Michael and her husband Seth. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, Kelsey, Cole, Bennett, Max, and Mia; and one great-great grandson, Tucker.
A visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 28, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Road, Chestertown, Md. A service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019 at 12 p.m. at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Rock Hall. Interment will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kent Ruritan Club, Scholarship Fund, c/o William Kelly, 10844 Foreston Rd Chestertown, MD 21620 or the Kent and Queen Anne's Rescue Squad P.O. Box 126 Chestertown, MD 21620.
