Charles Hropvich, 90
DOVER - Charles Hropvich passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Kent General Hospital.
Mr. Hropvich was born January 13, 1932, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
He served in the United States Air Force retiring after 24 years as MSgt. After his military career he worked for Farm Home as Federal Home Inspection. Mr. Hropvich was a member of the VFW in Camden, DE, American Legion Walter L. Fox post #2 and the Vietnam Veterans of Delaware. He enjoyed fishing and being outside watching the birds and feeding the animals. He also enjoyed going to the slots. He also enjoyed going to public auctions and buying property.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Evelyn.
He is survived by his 2nd wife, Gloria Small Hropvich of Dover; her children, Colin Devault, Becky Devault Murray and Kevin Devault; his close friends, Ron and Gilbert Howdershelt.
A memorial celebration service will be held November 12, 2022 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Woodside United Methodist Church on Main St., Woodside.
Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery at a later date.
