DOVER - Charles Henry Russ of Dover, formerly of the Farmington/Harrington area, died at Courtland Manor Nursing Home, where he had been a resident for the past 10 years, of natural causes. He was 94.
Mr. Russ was retired from the State of Delaware Highway Department after many years of service.
Although he was blind for many years, one would never have known it to have met him, in that he could tell his family members as they approached him, as well as the nursing room staff members by the sound of their footsteps.
Mr. Russ is survived by his daughters, Patricia and her husband Walter Smith and Robin Wells of Harrington; brothers, Lawrence Russ of Harrington and Robert Russ of Baltimore; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were at Williamsville Cemetery, Williamsville.
Arrangements by Deborah E. Harris-Nock Funeral Services, Greenwood.
