ROCK HALL, Md. - Carrie Mae Hepbron, of Rock Hall, died on Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, in Chester River Hospital Center. She was 98.
She was born on Jan. 27, 1910, in Rock Hall, to the late David C. and Clara M. Ashley.
Mrs. Hepbron was a seamstress at Rock Hall Shirt Factory. She then worked at Hubbard's Pier Restaurant.
She was a member of Raum Chapel Church, loved playing bingo, cards, and taking care of herself.
Mrs. Hepbron was preceded in death by her husband, Louis S. Hepbron, in 1974.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Lee Lewis and Rosalyn Perry; a son, Wayne Hepbron, all of Rock Hall; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Rock Hall.
