The Caesar Rodney chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Polytech High School graduating senior Me’Lik Purnell of Dover, center. State Sen. Eric Buckson, left, also presented Me’Lik a proclamation from the Senate. Congratulating the winner was chapter president Mike Fritz. The organization is committed to nonpartisan patriotism, education, service to community and the history of the American Revolution.
