Brittany Renee Elliott, 17

SEAFORD - Brittany Renee Elliott of Seaford died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006, in Alfred I. Dupont Hospital for Children, Wilmington. She was 17.

Brittany was born in Seaford, daughter of Susan Lina Ockels of Seaford and Scott Alan Elliott of Bridgeville.

She was a senior at Seaford High School.

Brittany attended Cannon United Methodist Church and was a past member of the Seaford Blue Jay"s 4-H Club.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John Logan Ockels in 1992.

She is survived by her parents, Susan Lina Ockels of Seaford and Scott Alan Elliott of Bridgeville; two sisters, Mary Elliott and Michelle Howell, both of Seaford; her maternal grandfather, Herman Ockels of Seaford; and a niece, Hailey Walls of Seaford.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front and King streets, Seaford, where friends may call two hours earlier.

Burial will be in Blades Cemetery.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Brittany Elliott Memorial Fund, C/O PNC Bank, Stein Highway, Seaford, DE 19973.
