MILFORD - Brad Michael Dugan, of North Las Vegas, Nev., passed away suddenly on Monday, May 11, 2015 of cardiac arrest. Brad was born on Jan. 26, 1963 in Milford, Del. the son, of Beverly Thawley and Carl Dugan. He attended Milford High School and served in the United States Army. He had lived in San Diego, Calif. for several years and worked for Griswold Property Management as a Maintenance Supervisor for properties in California and Nev. He returned to Milford for several years and was involved in the restoration of several historic homes in the City of Milford. He moved to Nevada in 2010 to work in maintenance again. He also worked at New Frontier Armory in North Las Vegas, Nev. repairing and building firearms. He had recently returned to doing custom made knives, a skill he learned from an Alaskan Indian in 1984 while living in Tacoma, Wash. He was a very skilled craftsman and avid historian, especially American History and the US Constitution. His greatest accomplishment in life was becoming a Father to Brian, who was his best friend. He raised his son as a single dad. He is survived by his son, Brian, of North Las Vegas, Nev.; his mother, Beverly Thawley and her companion, Karl Severson of Milford; father, Carl Dugan and wife, Lisa of Margate, Fla.; brother, Pat Dugan and niece, Kelsey Dugan, of Milford; uncle, Brown Thawley of Rehoboth Beach; cousins, Michele Bell and Renee Morris of Seaford; and his Special California Family, the Aldanas of Lemon Grove, Calif. He is also remembered fondly by many friends across the United States. A memorial fund in his honor has been set up at
