MILFORD – Bonnie Jean Thompson, of Milford passed away on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016 at Bayhealth Kent General. Bonnie was born in Milford on Dec. 7, 1946 to John and Virginia (Penuel) Thompson. She was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church, was employed by the State of Delaware as an Accountant for 37 years, worked at the Milford Wal-Mart, enjoyed crocheting and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Bonnie was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Thompson. She is survived by her daughter, Johnna Fry, of Milford; brother, James Thompson and his wife, Shirley, of Milford; grandchildren, John Michael Joseph and Jaelin Elizabeth Turner; and niece, Jamie Thompson. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends and family may call for a time of visitation beginning at 12 noon.
