HOUSTON - Bonnie Baynum passed away at Seaford Genesis Center, on Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Jeannette and Louis Welch, Sr.
Bonnie worked over 28 years at Hardees in Harrington, Dover, Milford, and other locations prior to retiring as a manager.
Bonnie had a large family and enjoyed last minute BBQs and reunions which allowed others to enjoy her cooking and baking. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, and reading. Bonnie was a tough but fair lady who had to have a lot of patience raising four ornery boys. She liked to have fun and laugh but wasn't afraid to tell you how it was. Bonnie will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
In addition to her parents; Bonnie was preceded in death by her brother, Louis Welch, Jr.; and sister, Brenda Morris.
Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Ernest Baynum Sr.; children, Robert Smith Jr. (Tanya), Chris Smith Sr. (Tamara Foster), Kevin Smith (friend, Christine), Brian Smith (Rose), Ernest Baynum Jr. (Sherri), Carol Stewart (Ken), Jimmy Baynum (Susan), Billy Swiggett (Tammy), John Baynum, Teresa Clegg (Charles), Tina Baynum (friend, Jaime); siblings, Edward Welch, Donald Welch, Millie Stewart, Debbie White; brother in law, John Morris; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
