Blane Kohout Sr.

Kohout, Sr., 56 ANDERSON, S.C. - Blane "Joe" Kohout, Sr., of Anderson, S.C., formerly of Felton, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at home. He was 56. Blane was born November 1, 1959, in Dover, to George Joseph Kohout and the late Emily Brown Kohout. He had worked 34 years as a machine operator for Colorbox in Harrington. Blane enjoyed watching NASCAR especially Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. he also enjoyed working on cars and motors, as well as camping and barbequing. Blane is survived by his father, George Kohout, of Hartly; his wife, Glenda Hayden Kohout, of Anderson, S.C.; daughter, Jennifer Kohout, of Hartly; son, Blane "Joey" Kohout, Jr., of Anderson, S.C.; brothers, Mark Kohout and his wife Helene, of Hartly and Dale Kohout and his wife Stacey, of Clayton; grandchildren, Taryne Kohout, Cash Wyatt and Randal Reny, III. Funeral services will be 12 p.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park.
