Beverly A. Carman

Beverly A. Carman, 73

DOVER - Beverly A. Carman of Dover passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, at Silverlake Nursing Center, Dover. She was 73.

Mrs. Carman was born Sept. 11, 1934, in Henning, Minn., to the late Clifford and Emma (Peach) Sholes.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Dover.

Mrs. Carman worked in civil service at Dover Air Force Base in the supply squadron. She also worked at Burris Foods in the personnel department.

She enjoyed archery, knitting, making quilts, cross stitching, traveling and genealogy.

Mrs. Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Carman.

She is survived by a son, Stephen W. Carman of Smyrna; daughter, Charlene P. Carman of Newark, N.J.; granddaughter, Stephanie Ann Carman; grandsons, Dustin Brent Carman and Alexander Jacob Carman; and great-grandchildren Eva, Rowan, Triston, Alex Jr. and Dane.

Remembrance services will be 2 p.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Dover, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be at Fort Ethan Allen Cemetery, Colchester, Vt.

The family requests that memorial contributions be given to St. John's Lutheran Church, 113 Lotus St., Dover, DE 19901.
