Betty A. Strobel

CAMDEN - Betty A. Strobel passed away Tuesday March 26, 2013 at Capitol Nursing Home. Mrs. Strobel was born Dec. 21, 1932 in Lincoln, Del. Her parents, Emory N. Lynch Jr. and Sara Coverdale Lynch, preceded her in death. She worked for eight years with the Kent County Register of Wills as the Deputy Register of Wills. Prior to that, she worked for many years as a legal secretary in Dover. Mrs. Strobel enjoyed crocheting and was an avid Phillies fan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Shahan in 1991. She is survived by her son, John E. Moore and his wife Barbara of Milford; daughter, Donna Hoy and her husband Ray of Salisbury, Md, Sherrie L. Cronshaw and her husband Drew of Camden; grandchildren, Brittany Lane and Stephanie Duphily; great-grandson, Zachary Prebula; and an extended family of five step-grandchildren and ten step- great-grandchildren.
