Bertha Malin Nelson

DOVER - Bertha "Piney" Malin (Lane) Nelson, of Plainfield, Ind., formerly of Dover, passed away Feb. 15, 2014. She was born March 28, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Albert and Bertha (Dillmore) Lane. Her loving husband, Frank J. Nelson, Sr.; daughter, Bertha Krasulak; son, Frank "Jessie" Nelson, Jr.; and brothers, Albert "Duke" Lane and Malin "Mike" Lane, preceded her in death. Survivors include sons, Wesley and Bruce Nelson, both of Dover, Jeffrey and his wife Peggy, of Felton; sisters, Emma Lane, of Dover and Janus Williams, of Rehoboth; granddaughters, Crystal and her husband Glenn Chilcote, of Plainfield, Ind., and Frances Hickman of Felton; grandsons, William Abbott, Jr. and Martin Hickman, of Felton; and great-grandchildren, Noah, Chelsea, Beonca, and Leah. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com
