HARRINGTON - Bertha E. Murray of Harrington died Monday, Nov. 20, 2006, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 79.
She was born in Georgetown, daughter of the late William E. and Mabel (Phillips) Elliott,
Mrs. Murray was a packer for Milford Stitching.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald P. Murray Sr. in 1990; a son-in-law, Harry H. Mowbray; and a sister, Gertrude Roy.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Mowbray of Felton; a son and a daughter-in-law, Donald P. Jr. and Joann Murray of Dover; a sister and a brother-in-law, Grace Marie and Darrell Murray of Harrington; seven grandchildren, Steve Porter, Dawn Mitchell, Bill Austin, Tammy Mowbray, Kimberley and Robert Shank, Jonathan Murray, Heather Morhan and Samantha Porter; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. The Revs. Wesley Murray, Neil Murray and Royce Andrus will officiate.
