Bernice Dickerson, 84
DOVER - Bernice Dickerson of Dover was ushered into the Lord's presence on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, and will be spending Christmas in heaven. She was 84.
Mrs. Dickerson was born April 4, 1923.
She was married to James Dickerson, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dickerson's legacy will live through her children, Josephine Dickerson, Berkley Dickerson, George Norwood, Brenda Dickerson, Yvonne Scott, Ruthann Dickerson, Benjamin Dickerson, James Dickerson, Florence Bryant and Patsy Brooks.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Wesley Brooks, Foster Brooks and Bishop Henson F. Brooks; and three sisters, Bernis Gray, Helen Rodgers and Consuella White.
She is survived by Geraldine Brown and Lawrence Brooks.
Funeral services will be noon Wednesday at the Church of the Living God, Cecil and West streets, Dover, where friends may call one hour prior.
Burial will be in the Sharon Hills Cemetery, Dover.
