FEDERALSBURG, Md. - Barry Thomas White of Federalsburg passed away on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. He was 59. He was born on January 26, 1955 in Salisbury, Md.; the son of Marion Burton White and Jean Elizabeth Whaley White, both of Bridgeville, Del. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki White. Barry was a tractor trailer mechanic for Koski Trucking for almost 40 years. He was a member of Christ's Church of New Hope in Bridgeville, Del. He was a musician and played in several bands over the years. He played many instruments but mostly enjoyed playing the drums and bass guitar. He was a devoted father and grandfather. In addition to his parents he is survived by two sons, Ryan Richards and his wife Amanda of Harrington, Del. and Richie White and his wife Monica of St. Michaels, Md.; five grandchildren, Nicholas Richards, James Reaves, Brooke Reaves, Madison White, and Benjamin White; five great grandchildren; a brother, Ron White of Easton, Md.; a sister, Susan White of Bridgeville, Del.; and a companion, Teresa Roberts of Chestertown, Md. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Edwards; and a brother, Eddie White. Funeral services will be 1 p.m, Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, Md. with Pastor John Herbst officiating. Interment will follow in Bloomery Cemetery in Federalsburg, Md. The family will receive friends on 6 p.m to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014 and 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014.
