Barbara Jean (Justice) Thompson, 76
BRIDGEVILLE - Barbara Jean (Justice) Thompson of Bridgeville died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, in Milford Center. She was 76.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Ocean View, daughter of the late Elmer Ruly and Alberta Mae (Mitchell) Justice.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Thompson enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as stock car racing and NASCAR.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Schmierer.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, William H. Thompson Sr.; five sons, Gary L. Lawson of Georgetown, William J. Lawson of Milton, Robert J. Lawson of Greenwood, Richard W. Lawson of Florida and William H. "Hank" Thompson Jr. of Georgetown; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Beverly Wilson of Georgetown; and a brother, Nelson Justice of Laurel.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in St. John's United Methodist Church Cemetery, Millsboro.
