Barbara E. Lang 'Bobbi', 58

MAGNOLIA - Barbara E. Lang, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009, in Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 58. She was born September 29, 1951, in Wilmington, daughter of the late Adam and Alice (Councill) Lang. Bobbi enjoyed going to the Hilton Casino in Atlantic City and playing cards. Bobbi was a nurturing and caring person to all of her family friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia A. Wright and Judith A. Lang; and a brother, James A. Lang. She is survived by two sisters, Alice A. "Sue" Smith of Dover and Bonnie G. Russ of Harrington; a brother, Edward W. Lang of Dover; a long time friend, Claire Lewandowski of Magnolia; 15 nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 12 noon Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather one hour before services. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720-1633.
