SMYRNA - Arthur David Carrow, "Artie," "Buck," passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015 surrounded by his family. A native Delawarean, David was born August 15, 1959, the son of Walter Carrow, Sr. and Doris Virdin Carrow of Smyrna. He graduated from Smyrna High School in 1977 and went on to become a Boilermaker with Local 13 of Philadelphia, PA for over 30 years. He also owned and operated his own welding and wrought iron business, Arrow Custom fabrication in Smyrna. David enjoyed riding and working on his Harley Davidson motorcycles and was always willing to make a run to help his friends, as well as donate his handmade wrought iron creations for many fundraisers. David will be remembered for his charming personality and being a loyal friend, son and brother. In addition to his parents, David is survived by his daughter, Brandi of Farmington; brothers, Walter of Clayton, Robert (Teresa) of Townsend and Daniel (Gail) of Odessa; sisters, Dora Wisniewski (Jack) of Townsend and Alisa Bentley of Smyrna; and many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 10 am to 12 pm in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 12 pm. Burial will follow at Old Drawyers Cemetery in Odessa. Please feel free to dress casual and ride your bike in his honor, weather permitting. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720 or to any charity of your choice.
