Anthony J. Aurora

SMYRNA - Anthony J. Aurora passed away on Dec. 23,2018.
He was born and raised in Hoboken, N.J., eventually settling in Delaware. Anthony volunteered and served honorably in the United States Army. He also served as a volunteer firefighter in Madison Park, N.J. He enjoyed judo, bowling, hunting, motorcycles, water sports but most of all, he loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was known for his quick wit and ever present smile.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marie; son, Steven Aurora and wife Inci; daughters, Donna Aurora and Dawn Marie Shane and husband Gary; grandchildren, Gina Aurora, Michelle Aurora, Steven Anthony Aurora, Caitlin Aurora and Zachary Shane; and three great grandchildren, Brianna Carter, Isabella Crowell, and Cameron Stieber.
A special thank you to Delaware Hospice for the extra special care given to Anthony and his family.
Burial will be private.
