DOVER - Anne D. Bert, of Dover, died Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Green Meadows Nursing Home, Dover. She was 94. Mrs. Bert was born May 21, 1917, in Madison, Pa. She spent most of her life in the Pittsburgh area and moved to Delaware in 1987. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. Bert, 1991; and daughter, Jane Laurits, 1987. She is survived by her son, Jack Bert of Dover; two grandchildren, Jason Laurits of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Melisa Laurits Stoeck of Portland, Ore.; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday. July 4, 2011, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Dover.
