GEORGETOWN - Anna G. Moore, age 91, of Georgetown, passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at her daughters home, surrounded by her loving family. Anna was born in Georgetown, daughter of the late Larry and Della (Timmons) Warrington. She was a Line Supervisor for Swift Co. in Georgetown for 32 years; she also served as the union organizer and shop steward. Anna also enjoyed Bingo, crafts and pottery. In addition to her parents; her husband, Joseph Moore, Jr., preceded her in death. She is survived by nine children, Hazel Davis, New Castle, Margaret Bradley, Georgetown, Trudy Clayton, Milford, Ralph Moore, Greenwood, Bill Moore, Snow Hill, Md., Otis Moore, Dover, David Moore, Michael Moore and John Moore, all of Georgetown; 32 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren and her beloved dog, Benji. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, with visitation Sunday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday after 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton. Contributions can be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 28467 Dupont Blvd, Suite 6, Millsboro, DE 19966.
