Ann Scisley Isaacs, 56

LINCOLN - Ann Scisley Isaacs of Lincoln, died Saturday, July 7, 2007, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 56.

Mrs. Isaacs was born March 20, 1951, in Wilmington, daughter of the late Chester Scisley and Orlilla R. (Shepherd) Jarrell.

She was a graduate of Milford High School.

Mrs. Isaacs was a homemaker while her children were growing up. In 1991, she entered the workforce and was a representative for Beltone Hearing Aids in Dover and Georgetown and was involved in establishing a Beltone Service Center in Milford. She then worked as an administrative assistant at Bekins Moving Company, Berry Van Lines in Dover for eight years and finally worked as site manager for the Pierre Toussaint Dental Office, which is a part of the Ministry of Caring in Wilmington, where she worked along side her husband until June 2007.

She enjoyed gardening, decorating and crafts. She could do it all.

Mrs. Isaacs was a member of the Greensboro Baptist Church, Greensboro, Md. where she sang in the choir. She loved music, predominately Christian music.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Dr. Gary D. Isaacs Sr.; two daughters, Kimber Leigh Odegaard and her husband, Evan and Sara Elizabeth Isaacs, both of Greenwood; a son, Gary D. Isaacs Jr. and his wife, Jami of Freeville, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Ethan Odegaard and Emily Odegaard and Andrew Isaacs and Mia Isaacs; two sisters, Stella Reed and her husband, Robert of Greenwood and Jaime Hurd and her husband, Aaron of Ellendale; a brother, Michael Felin and his wife, Ginny of Greenwood; and two half-brothers, Clay Felin of Florida and Charles Felin of Delaware.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Greensboro Baptist Church, 401 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro, Md.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Ave., Milford.

Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery, N. Walnut Street, Milford.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Greensboro Baptist Church, P.O. Box 66, Greensboro, MD 21639; The Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800; or Emmanuel Dining Hall, c/o the Ministry of Caring, 506 N. Church St., Wilmington, DE 19801-4812.
