Ann Happoldt

Dover - Ann Happoldt, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018, in Kent General Hospital, Dover.
Ann was born Nov. 24, 1942, in Kearney, N.J. to the late William B. Happoldt, Jr. & Elizabeth (Inman) Happoldt. She worked for several years as a social worker for the State of Delaware and later for Historical and Cultural Affairs. Ann was very involved with the Colonial Dames, having served as President for both the Chapter & State; the Mayflower Society, and Daughters of the American Revolution, where she served as organizing secretary. In her free time, she enjoyed doing geneology research, reading, and spending time with her grandsons.
Ann is survived by her loving daughter, Carrie Hart & her husband, Brandon, of Dover; her sister, Peggy Litchko, of Wilmington; and her beloved grandsons William & Aidan Hart.
Viewing will be held from 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, May 1, 2018, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave. Wyoming and again on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 12 to 1 p.m.; where funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
