Ann E. Wich, 80
CAMDEN - Ann E. Wich of Camden died Wednesday, June 27, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 80.
Mrs. Wich was born in Baltimore, daughter of the late William P. and Florence (Altvater) Gahan.
She moved to Dover in 1953 and worked part-time as a legal secretary. Throughout the years, she remained an active partner with her husband in the affairs of National Enterprise.
She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Wich was a longtime member of Holy Cross Church, Dover, and was an active participant in the Noncommissioned Officers Club at Dover Air Force Base. She also was an active supporter throughout the years of the Christian Business Women"s Association and the Legal Secretaries Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew J. Gahan.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, F. Jack Wich of Camden; two sons and a daughter-in-law, John J.F. and Barbara Wich, and William R. Wich, all of Camden; a sister, Mary Margaret Kirby of Glen Burnie, Md.; three grandchildren, Beth Ann Thompson and Laura Lei Bortz, both of Felton, and Joshua Wich of Willow Grove; and four great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial was private Tuesday in Holy Cross Church.
Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901; or to a favorite charity.
