FELTON - Andrew D. Everett, III who resides in Felton, died Monday, Nov. 18, 2013. He was born July 31, 1975 in Perry, Fla. to Andrew Everett, Jr. and Virginia Thomas. Andrew was a Delaware State Trooper, assigned to State Police Troop 9 in Odessa. Prior to joining the State Police in 2005, he served in the US Air Force, he was a Corrections Officer for the Delaware Department of Corrections, and on the Delaware State University Police Force. Andrew is survived by his wife of seven years, Darisa Roberts Everett, of Felton; children, Dahani and Braelyn Everett; mother, Virginia Thomas, of Jacksonville, Fla.; father, Andrew Everett, Jr. and stepmother, Victoria Everett, of Panama City, Fla.; brother, Malcom Everett, of Panama City, Fla.; sisters, Parthina Thomas of Atlanta, Ga., Teidra Thomas, of Tallahassee, Fla., and Martia Everett, of Panama City, Fla. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call 2 hours prior. Interment will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. Food and fellowship will follow at the Delaware State Troopers Association Hall (DSTA) in Cheswold.
