SEAFORD - Alyssa N. Whaley, of Seaford, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at A.I. dupont Children's Hospital, Wilmington. She was 17.
Alyssa was born in Seaford, and attended the Howard T. Ennis School, Georgetown.
She will be remembered by her family for her beautiful smile, and the care of her socks and toothbrushes.
Alyssa attended the Emmanuel Wesleyan Church, Salisbury, Md.
She is survived by her parents, Shawn and Shelly Larrimore of Seaford and Roger and Marnie Whaley of Odenton, Md.; her brother and sisters, Colin Larrimore, Krista Whaley and Delaney Larrimore, all of Seaford, and Gina Whaley of Odenton; her grandparents, Nancy and Van Messick, Nancy and Dennis Twilley, Linda and Woody Larrimore and Roger and Jenny Whaley, all of Laurel, Dean Taylor of Laurel and Peggy Kobbe of Crofton, Md.
A funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Messiah's Vineyard Church, on the corner of U.S. 13 and Discount Land Road in Laurel, where friends and family may call one hour prior to the service.
The Rev. Dr. Fred Antonelli will officiate.
Internment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, Laurel.
