Allan Kenneth Bowler, 84
MILFORD - Allan Kenneth Bowler of Dover, Del., peacefully passed on May 28, 2021. He was born May 21, 1937, in Milford, New Hampshire, to the late George and Inez (Peterson) Bowler. Allan graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 1956. He married Rose M. Chambers on April 1, 1961; they just celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary.
Allan served as a mechanic in the Delaware Air National Guard for 11 years. He was a photographer in his early years: his love of photography continued throughout his life. Allan retired from Diamond Electric after working over 30 years as an electrician, many of those years at General Foods. He enjoyed many hobbies and interests and was an avid collector. He loved the outdoors and had many beautiful gardens over the years. As a youth, Allan relished his time in scouting and was a proud member of the BSA Order of the Arrow.
Allan was preceded in death by his siblings, John, Forrest, Gordon, Cathy and, Geana.
Allan is survived by his wife, Rose; and daughters, Rose, her husband Dan, Dawn, and Tina; grandchildren, George, Dennis, Austin, Breanna, Selena, and Noah; great-grandchildren, Easton and Azari; sisters, Sally and Joan.
Services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Avenue U.M.C., Milford, Del. Friends may call a half-hour before.
