SEAFORD - Aliene Ellen (King) White Wise passed away peacefully on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Harrison Senior Living in Georgetown. Aliene was born in Georgetown, daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary (Joines) King. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts, crabbing, traveling and car racing. She was a member of Hebron MP Church and First Baptist Church, both in Georgetown, and Concord Methodist Church in Seaford. In addition to her parents, Aliene is preceded in death by her first husband, John Oran White, Jr.; her second husband, Charles Wayne Wise; three children, Ronnie Lee White, Robert Lee White and Charlotte Ann Pistno; and five siblings, Catherine King, Mildred Murray, Preston King, Helen Davis and Agnes Quesada. She is survived by four children, Pat Lawson and husband Bill, of Milton, Donald White and wife Kay, of North Carolina, John White III, Jeff White and wife Kelly, all of Ellendale; 15 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; a sister, Nellie Adams and husband Nelson; sister-in-law, Dorothy (Davis) King; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2016 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, with visitation after 12 p.m. Burial will be in Hebron MP Cemetery, Georgetown.
