DOVER - Albert McClements, passed away Thursday, Oct. 02, 2008, in his home surrounded by his family. He was born on May 23, 1933 in Dover, to the late Joseph and Laura Drake McClements. He was a Life member of Little Creek Vol. Fire Co. and the American Legion. He was an Army veteran. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his family, especially Sunday family dinners. He loved the Delaware State Fair, exhibiting Guernsey cows and pigs. He hauled milk for many years, before retiring as a Bus Contractor of his established company, McClements Buses LLC. He is preceded in death by Joseph, Gilbert, and Edward McClements. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sue McClements; son, Robert J. McClements Sr. and his fiancé Denise Lucas, all of Dover; daughters, Bonnie McClements, of Woodside; Barbara and John Mast of Hartly; daughter-in-law, Katie McClements of Dover; grandsons, Bobby and Bill McClements of Dover, Brian and Brandon Mast of Hartly; brother, Lawrence McClements of Kenton; sisters, Mable O'Neal of Laurel, Mary Evans of Elkton, Md., and Mildred Evans of Newark. Remembrance services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trader Funeral Home in Dover. Burial will be at the Sharon Hill/Oddfellows in Camden. Gathering of family and friends will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover. The family request that memorial contributions be given to Delaware Hospice, 911 Lotus Plaza, Dover, DE 19901; and/or Central Mennonite Church Building Fund, 220 West Dennys Road, Dover, DE 19904.
