Addie Scott, 95

DOVER - Addie Scott of Dover died Thursday, April 19, 2007, in Green Valley Pavilion, Smyrna. She was 95.

She was born Feb. 15, 1912, in Brown's Neck, between Felton and Frederica, daughter of the late Noah and Mary Tressie Fitzgerald Scott.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death, by her siblings, Elsie, Bertha, Amanda, Amos, Mamie, Chester, Laura, Grace, John, William, Solomon and Pauline.

She is survived by one sister-in-law, Christina Scott of Denton, Md.; a godson, Trevor Admead of Phoenix, Ariz.; her nephew and caregiver, Samuel S. Scott Sr. of Barclay, Md.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in John Wesley United Church, Milford Neck, where friends may view one hour prior. Burial will be in John Wesley United Church Cemetery.
