CLAYTON - Wilma M. Weaver of Clayton died Sunday, April 1, 2007, in Courtland Manor Nursing Home, Dover. She was 83.
She was born April 15, 1923, in Washington, daughter of the late John and Ava (Abbott) Pforter.
Mrs. Weaver worked as a secretary in the Maryland and New Jersey areas for several years before retirement.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Weaver; a son, James Dugan; and a daughter, Linda Arnold.
She is survived by four daughters, Deborah Noble and her husband George of Norwalk, Ohio, Patricia Gagliarducci and her husband Rick of Gaithersburg, Md., Donna Korenin and her husband Jerry of Appleton, Wis., and Janice Mazzarella and her husband Peter of Clayton; a son, William Harbison of Jonesboro, Ga.; a special stepson, Robert Weaver and his wife Diane of Alexandria, Va.; two sisters, Doris Dice of Annapolis, Md., and Hilda Gileau of Leonardstown, Md.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call one hour prior to the services.
