Willow Mae (Sears) Church, 77
MILFORD - Willow Mae (Sears) Church of Milford, affectionately known as Ms. Peaches, departed this life Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at The Milford Center after a long illness. She was 77.
She was born Nov. 29, 1929, in Shawboro, N.C., daughter of the late William Henry and Annie Mae (Trafton) Sears.
Ms. Peaches was a homemaker.
She loved to draw, play the guitar and listen to and sing the gospel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Church Jr.; her daughters, Jessemae White-Drummond and Elisa White; and her son, William G. White.
She leaves behind to mourn five sons, James E. White Jr., Earl White and Ricky D. White, all of Lincoln, Harry Church of Greenwood and Charles Young of Harrington; three daughters, Lucille White and Sara White, both of Patterson, N.J., and Charlotte Church of Milford; one brother, Lysell Sears of Shiloh, N.C.; one sister, Lenora Bailey of Millsboro; three daughters-in-law, Keena White and Jackie White, both of Lincoln, and Shirley Church of Greenwood; her granddaughters, Elisa D. White-Hammond and Renee White; a grandson, Jermaine Church; her great-granddaughters, Ebony White and Amy White; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Pentecostal Church of God of Lincoln, where friends may view two hours prior.
Burial will be in Old Hickory Cemetery.
