Willie H. Tiller Sr.

DOVER - Willie H. Tiller, Sr. departed this life on Friday September 12, 2014. Willie passed peacefully holding the hand of his beloved wife, Naomi, and surrounded by his family including all of his six children. Willie was born on July 20, 1930 in Greenville, Virginia, to the late Waverly and Bessie Tiller. He moved to New Jersey early in life and was a resident there for over 50 years before coming to Dover, Delaware in June of 2013. Willie was preceded in death by both parents and his brother, Lawrence. Willie is survived by his wife, Naomi (Mason), his sister Dorothy Wilson of Hopewell, Va.; his children, Curtis Tiller (Rosalee) of Elizabeth, N.J., Sharon Turner (Robert) of Scotch Plains, N.J., Willie Tiller, Jr. (Debbie) of North Plainfield, N.J., Teresa Jones (Meridith) of Milford, Del., Wayne Tiller, Sr. (Jacqueline) of Magnolia, Del., and Anthony Tiller of Lopatcong, N.J. Willie also has numerous nieces, grandchildren, and great grandchildren plus additional relatives and friends left to cherish his memory. A funeral service will be at Noon Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00. There will be a committal service 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE 19701. Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
