Dunning, 84 MILTON - William Thomas Dunning died Wed., Nov. 14, 2012 at Beebe Medical Center after brief illness. Bill as he was fondly called was born July 31, 1928 in Lewes to the late Dewey S. & Edna Henry Dunning. Bill was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army, and was honorably discharged. Bill worked more than 30 years for State Highway Dept at Gravel Hill depot. After retiring from the state, Bill went to work for J.G. Townsend Farms in Georgetown for more than 20 years until his sudden illness. Bill was predeceased by his wife Gladys in 1986. He is survived by four sons, Bernard Flowers of Millsboro, William F. & Lavon Dunning of Lincoln, Apostle Anthony & Pastor Ruth Flowers of Bridgeville, Darryl T. Dunning of Milton; two daughters, Patricia Dunning & Pamela Ayers of Lincoln; 24 Grandchildren; three sisters, Elsie Wingo & Edna Mae Miller of Lewes, Joann & Thomas Henry of Georgetown; one brother-in-law, Rufus June Carter of Lewes. Services will be Sat., Nov. 24, 2012 at noon at Pilgrim Ministry of Deliverence, DuPont Hwy#113/Georgetown, DE. Bishop-Levin Bailey will be Officiating.
