WILMINGTON - William Thomas Davis departed this life on Sunday, July 24, 2011, in Wilmington. Son of Totsie Dorothy Davis and Ronald Bryant, he was born, Sept. 21, 1959, in Dover. He was educated in the Smyrna School District. Later, he joined the Peace Corps. He was employed for the state of Delaware and Christiana Care (Hematology). William married Isabelle L. Bratten on May 10, 1989. He is survived by his wife; son, William Mileek; siblings, Henry, Ray, Robert, Edward, Edwin, Nattless Davis, and Frances Patton; his wife's siblings, Rachel, Amos, Elmer, Timothy and Gerald Bratten, Arlene Young, Lola Phillips, Rosemary Waples, Elvira Briscoe and Alice Mullen; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and other family members. Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 3, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call two hours earlier. Burial will follow in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
