William R. Reilly

MAGNOLIA - William R. Reilly of Magnolia passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Beebe Hospital. He was 82. Mr. Reilly was born September 2, 1931 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to the late Kenneth Reilly and Louella Long Reilly. He served in the United States Air Force as a Flight Engineer, 20 years active duty and three years, in the reserves, retiring in 1973. After his retirement he worked for ten years as an aerospace engineering consultant. Mr. Reilly was a professional musician, he played the guitar his entire adult life. He had connected with musicians all over the country, and played with Roy Clark. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Millicent Slater Reilly in 1999; and his brother, Kenneth Reilly. He is survived by his sons, William K. Reilly and his wife Lisa of Lincoln, Brian R. Reilly and his wife Doraliza of Orlando, Fla., Sean H. Reilly and his wife Cindi of Orlando, Fla., Barry X. Reilly of Knoxville, Tenn; daughter, Dorothy L. Locke and her husband Carl of Seward, Alaska, Heather J. Lipkowitz and her husband Steve of Seymour, Tenn; sisters, Mary Freeman of Covington, Pa. and Teresa Walieski of Wellsboro, Pa; 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, September 5, 2014 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Camden Wyoming Moose Lodge, 760 Moose Lodge Road, Wyoming, DE 19934.
