DOVER - William P. Harris Jr. of Dover died Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 58.
Mr. Harris was born in Dover, son of the late William P. Sullivan, who died in 1976, and Mary E. Harris-Sullivan, who died in 1988.
He was a certified nursing assistant with Green Valley Pavilion Nursing Home, Dover.
Mr. Harris was a member of the William Henry Comprehensive High School Alumni.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Amelia Harris Mosley, in 2000; and an aunt, Anna Mae Gould, in 2006.
He is survived by two sister, Mary E. Harris and Driscella Romane Harris, both of Dover; two aunts, Elizabeth Sullivan and Pauline Sullivan, both of Dover; an adopted sister, Hanna Brown of Dover; three nieces, Theresa "Sissy" Ruff, Sarina "Renie" Harris and Tyria L. Mosley, all of Dover; four nephews, Kevin L. Harris and Michael A Harris, both of Dover, Tyrone T. Sullivan of Korea and Kevin D. Crain of Florida; and two special friends, Harriet Durrant of Dover and Nancy Alexander of Chester, Pa.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Mount Carmel Church of the Living God, 117 West St., Dover, where friends may call two hours earlier.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, State College Road, Dover.
Arrangements by Earl L. Foster Funeral Home, Chester.
