WYOMING - William N. Casterline, of Wyoming, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. He was 77. He was born Feb. 18, 1932, in Felton, son of William and Evelyn Fortney Casterline. Mr. Casterline was a retired truck driver. He loved fishing, hunting, playing cards and camping. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Brown Casterline; a grandson, Billy Casterline; and a companion, Edith Bennett. He is survived by his six children, Dorothy Neal of Laurel, Billy Casterline of Milford, Faye Sheranko, both of Wyoming, Alva Casterline of Bridgeville, Janie MeGee of Millsboro, and Ronnie Casterline of Florida; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and sisters and brothers. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 4, at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 West Market Street, Greenwood, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment will be held at St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
