William Lee 'Wilmer' Woodlin, 22
MAGNOLIA - William Lee "Wilmer" Woodlin, of Magnolia, departed this life Monday, March 17, 2008. He was 22.
He was born Oct. 17, 1985, and was the son of Charlene Scott and William Parker.
He received his education in Caesar Rodney School District.
He was a loving and caring person. He always kept a smile on his face. He also loved children, especially his son.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leon Woodlin.
He leaves to cherish his memories his son, William Deshawn Woodlin of Dover; his mother, Charlene Scott and her husband Maurice Scott of Magnolia; his father, William Parker of Felton; a special aunt who helped raise him, Christine Thomas; two grandmothers, Mildred Spence and Gertrude Parker; one grandfather, Charles Spence; three sisters, Antoinette Woodlin, Arnita Woodlin, Gertrude Jobes and her husband Edward Jobes; one brother, Arnold Woodlin; two nieces, De-Asia Woodlin and Amaya Woodlin; one nephew, Tommy Lee Woodlin; five aunts, Christine Thomas, Cecelia Lofland, Marlene Johnson and Loretta Woodlin, all of Magnolia, and Arletha Rice of South Carolina; two uncles, Leon Woodlin Jr. of Dover and Howard Woodlin of Smyrna; special people in his life, Tylisa Thomas, Lakesha Thomas, Tylicha Thomas, Tanisha Jean, Terrence Woodlin, Kareem Woodlin, Tonya Moore, Jonte Fuller, Tawanda Tolson and Arnold Jackson; and a host of cousins, relatives and numerous friends.
Viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday in Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Bibleway Church of God in Christ, Kirkwood Street, Dover, where friends may view two hours prior.
