William L. Windsor Jr.

William L. Windsor Jr., 88 DOVER - William L. Windsor Jr., 88, died April 18, 2010, in Knoxville, Tenn. He was born on Nov. 16, 1921, son of the late William and Nell Windsor of Onancock, Va. William served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed as a painter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary V. Windsor; and a daughter, Shirley V. Windsor. William is survived by two sons, Ronnie Windsor and his wife Judy of Dover with whom he lived, and William L. Windsor III of Louisiana; three daughters, Louise Moody of Virginia, Betsy Day of Texas, and Margaret Windsor of South Carolina; ten grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and two wonderful friends, JC Griffis and Doris Price, both of Searcy, Ark. Graveside services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, in the Fairview Lawn Cemetery, Onancock, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the American Heart Association, 200 Continental Dr., Suite 101, Newark, DE 19713.
