William L. Raylman, 73

DOVER - William L. Raylman, of Dover, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009, in Kent General Hospital. He was 73. Mr. Raylman was born May 29, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Charles Duane Raylman and Tonia A. Tebbs Raylman. He graduated from LaSalle University with a BA in Business. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Raylman was the manager of I.L.C. and then a manager of the Fry Corner Restaurant in Wilmington and Dover, after leaving the restaurant business he became a manager of the Middletown Cleaners. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Mapledale Country Clubs. Mr. Raylman is survived by his wife of 19 years, Kum Raylman of Dover; four step-children, Thomas Williams of Dover, Mi Yong Kim of Alexandria, Va., Jennie Williams of Philadelphia, Pa. and her son Jared Frane of Wilmington, Anne and Steven Szymanski and their son and daughter Zophia and Aaron of Lorton, Va. Funeral services will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt. 10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be held 1 p.m. Monday April 20, 2009, in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at torbertfuneral.com.
