SEAFORD - William L. Murray, Jr. passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Harrison Senior Living in Georgetown. William resided in Beltsville, Md. and moved to Seaford after retiring in 1991. William was born in Carmody Hills, Md., the son of the late William L. Murray, Sr. and Evelyn M. (Willett) Murray. He was the Warehouse manager for Robin Sales Company, retiring in 1990. He formerly worked at High Gear Auto Supply in Capitol Heights, Md. He was a member of Bayshore Community Church, were he enjoyed fellowship with friends from the church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working in the yard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret S. (King) Murray in 1990; a grandson, Charlie Wingfield in 2003; and son-in-law, Wayne Smith. He is survived by his children, Alfred P. Murray and his wife Deborah of Berlin, Md and Linda Ann Smith of Thurmont, Md; sister, Eva May Kinnamont of Prince Frederick, Md.; three grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday June 27, 2018 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, DE 19968. Burial will be in Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton.
