William Kenneth Durham

MARYDEL - William Kenneth Durham of Marydel, Del. died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011 at Kent General Hospital. He was 59. Mr. Durham was born May 14, 1952 in Bridgeton, N.J. to William K. Gould, Sr. and the late Rhoda M. Durham. He worked his entire life in the auto body field and owned and operated "Bill's Mobile Body Shop", he enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming, karaoke, softball and singing. Mr. Durham was a member of the Camden Wyoming Moose Lodge and Forest Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church, Dover. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his daughter, Christy Lynn Durham. He is survived by his father, William K. Gould, Sr. of Greenwich, N.J.; sons, Driso Durham and his wife Jennifer of Hartly, Baron Durham and his wife Danielle of Smyrna and Raymond Durham of Dover; step daughter, Stephanie Butler; brothers, Robert, Walter, and Arnold Durham all of Dover, Ken, Jr. and Steven Sr. Gould both of Greenwich, N.J.; sister, Helen Hanes of Greenwich, N.J.; grandchildren, Zachary, Jonathan, Raymond, Brianna and Schuyler Durham, Victoria, Destanie and AJ; also survived by Jan Barker, Roberta Durham and Josephine Corona and many other beloved relatives. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday Nov. 6, 2011 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Camden Wyoming Moose Lodge, 760 Moose Lodge Rd, Camden-Wyoming, DE 19934. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904, to help defray funeral costs. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at torbertfuneral.com.
